Healing Our Grief

Altar_2008_sacred_ceremony_rights_honor_west_county_elizabeth_moriartyI’ve been in an active inquiry with the process of deep healing and personal change work. In my work with clients and some groups, I’ve been exploring what I call the ‘healing state.” I’m profoundly moved and in constant awe of the potent transformation happening while inside the embodied, enlivened, shamanic space through which we dive into our internal landscapes and personal inner matrix.

My experience has shown and informed me about the ways in which our un metabolized and denied emotional energies and experiences calcify within us, ultimately costing us our valuable life force energy, joy and happiness.

The extent to which we can feel our joy, happiness and fulfillment is directly relative to our capacity to feel the depths of our feelings and emotional pain. We are not raised in an emotionally intelligent society, rather, we are trained and conditioned to avoid the uncomfortable feelings and the hard and effortful process of fully feeling and unwinding and metabolizing our discomfort, our hurts and our traumas. During childhood, every young human experiences a myriad of small and large traumas to our emotional body, nervous system, ego and sensitivities. These often are imprinted and buried somewhere within us – emerging later in life as thought forms, beliefs, strategies, programs, patterns, effects and personal shadowlings

It really is my deepest pleasure to hold space for this healing and change work. I’m honored and touched by my clients willingness to journey into and through the inner landscapes with trust, openness and intention.

If you are ready to explore and heal these energies in your space please join us for the next Community Heart Space series of Conscious Grief Circle on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of March through May. Hosted at my temple home in Sebastopol.
